Obituary of ERIC JOSEPH LAHOFER

ERIC JOSEPH LAHOFER December 22, 1930 – September 19, 2011 On September 19, 2011, Eric passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 80. Eric leaves to mourn his special loving wife Mary; three children Margaret (Albert), Loretta (David) and Alethea (Twilight); five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also leaves to mourn his brother, nephew, nieces, and cousins in Vienna, Austria. Eric was a hard working person and liked to help others. He loved gardening, flowers, growing strawberries and enjoyed nature. Eric was very handy around the kitchen- cooking and eating. He enjoyed sports-boxing, bowling and tennis. We will miss his sweet smile and stories of his past times. Miss you very much. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 24 at 9:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eric’s memory to Siloam Mission or a charity of your choice.
