Victoria Mary Shymanski

Peacefully, in the afternoon of August 14, at age 87, Victoria passed away at Lions Manor.

She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sons, Patrick and Ken; daughters-in-law, Sharon and Erna; granddaughter, Brandy (daughter of Ken and Erna); sister, Helen Rogoski and many nieces and nephews.

She was very appreciative of the help, assistance and visits with Helen and her daughter Linda. A special thanks to Linda for taking her to the doctor and helping out.

Vicki was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on December 18, 1924 to Joan and Stanley Serszen. She was married to Walter Shymanski in 1946 and he died in 1972. She lived with her long-term partner Stanley Hrynk until he died in 2004. Several years ago, she moved to the Lions Manor due to increasing health issues. The family is very thankful to the many extraordinary staff members at Lions Manor for making her years there so comfortable and pleasant.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

Should friends so desire, a donation to their favourite charity may be made in her name.
