Obituary of Christina Zuschtok (Hanzel)

Christina Sophia Zuschtok (Hanzel) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother who left us Tuesday May 4, 2010 at the age of 79. Mom was born August 9, 1930 in Tarnow, Poland and came to Canada in 1949. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholaus in 1999. She leaves to cherish her memory sons Peter, Tony (Karen) and daughter Irene Swetz (Alan) and her special granddaughter Corinna. Mom loved life. She was our little fireball. She enjoyed her children, her faith, gardening and her beloved animals. They truly enjoyed a good life under her care. Prayers will be held Thursday, May 6 at 6:00 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 8 at 9:00 am at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church at 355 Andrews at Mountain with interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery at 4387 Main Street. The family wish to express their most sincere thanks to the staff of fourth floor and ICU at the Victoria General Hospital. We love and miss you and send you hugs and kisses for your first Mother's Day in heaven.
