I worked with Zilly when I first started in the North End. He was a good guy and a good firefighter. He was a big man with a big laugh and a good sense of humor. I enjoyed being around him and I learned from him. I hope he enjoyed his retirement.

So sorry to hear about your dad, I only met him a handful of times but when Brenda took me out to the cabin for the weekend thirty years ago, Ray made sure to take us up in the plane for a ride. I had never been in a plane like that and I was amazed at him wanting to show me his flying at first I was nervous but he took care of that ...I am sure he is flying around watching over all of you. Take care thinking of you...
