Obituary of Frances Zabolotny

FRANCES ZABOLOTNY It is with much sorrow we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Frances Zabolotny, on Friday, April 15, 2011. She leaves us to rejoin her husband Peter, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Frances was born on May 15, 1915 in Stornoway, Saskatchewan, and was the youngest of nine children. She was a creative seamstress, a talented baker, and had a love of gardening. Her greatest joy was her family and especially, more recently, her great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her sons Ernest (Wanda) and Richard (Pat); grandchildren Robert, Janice, Brent (Jeanne), and Lisa (Roger); and great-grandchildren Juliana, Nicholas, and Andrew. We would like to thank Dr. T. Babick, the caring staff at St. Joseph's Residence, and also Angela and Natalie for their thoughtfulness. Funeral service was held Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
