Obituary of Peter WOYTKO

PETER WOYTKO 1919 - 2009 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Peter is survived by his son Gary (Elisabeth) and daughter Patricia (Joseph). He was predeceased by his wife Lucille in 1988. He was also predeceased by his sisters Mary, Stephie and brother Roy. Peter was born in Winnipeg where at the age of 25 he began his career in the hotel business. His first family business was the Royal George Hotel before moving on to Neepawa, where he and his brother had the Hamilton Hotel. In 1959 the family moved back to Winnipeg, where they then started the Kildonan Motor Hotel. Hard work and tenacity are what made Dad successful. He thoroughly enjoyed the family cottage at Falcon Lake. He and Mom had many fond memories. Dad's declining health the past few years necessitated his move to a personal care home, where he passed away peacefully. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made in Peter's memory to a charity of one's choice. DAD, MAY YOU REST IN PEACE
