WALTER WASKUL (BIG WALLY)


It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Wally on May 8, 2010 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 69 years.


Wally is survived by his loving wife Simone, daughter Debbie (Victor) Zeltins, son Robert (Sherry) Waskul, son Wally Jr. (Tammy) Waskul, grandchildren Brenna, Addison, Colby, Jade, Skylar, Copeland and Connor. He is also survived by his sister Nettie and brothers, Peter, Hank (Gloria), Morris (Annette) and Elie (Jo-ann). He will also be missed by his sisters and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.


He was predeceased by his parents, 1 sister and 3 brothers.


Wally loved to spend time with his grandchildren, his family and friends. He enjoyed bike riding, golf, gardening, fishing and watching his 2 sons and son-in-law play hockey.


The family would like to thank family and friends for their support during this difficult time.


Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St.
