Jeanette was a dedicated wife and mother who worked hard her whole life. She was known for her generosity, kindness, and sense of humour. She was a talented cook (although she didn't think so) who could whip up a dinner for a crowd in the blink of an eye. Jeanette made many long time friends while working at A&M Hurtig Furs. Her life made a significant impact on many who were lucky enough to know her. Thank you to the excellent staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th Floor for their compassion and care. A special thank you to all the family and friends that wore a path to Jeanette's bedside. You were able to keep her spirits high. Rosary will be said at 9:30 am on Monday, January 4 at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanette's memory to: The St. Amant Centre, 440 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 3Z9, a foundation close to Jeanette's heart or to The Seven Oaks General Hospital.
