Obituary of Paulette Wachniak

Peacefully, with her family by her side Paulette passed away on June 4, 2011 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 67 years after courageous battle with cancer. Paulette leaves to mourn her husband Al, daughter Christine (Kelly) Itterman, grandson Eric Itterman, mother Sophie Wachniak, her brothers and sister, Don (Anne) Wachniak, Darlene (Bob) Wright, and Brian Nicholas. As well as her nieces and nephews, Kristyn, Trevor, Hillary, and Michael. She was predeceased by her father Nick. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Meer Janjua, the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit staff, and CancerCare Manitoba for all their kindness and support. A Celebration of Paulette's life will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Paulette's memory to CancerCare Manitoba
