Richard Emil Tomaka

We are saddened to announce that on Saturday, June 14, 2008 Richard Tomaka, beloved husband, father, son and brother passed away in his home at the age of 61 years.

Besides his wife Teresa, he leaves to mourn his passing his daughter Dallas, sons Blue, Chaz, step sons Billy, Matthew, and Thomas, father Jan, and sister Louise.

He was predeceased by his first wife Rose and mother Karolina.

Richard was born on April 7, 1947 in Germany. His family then came to Canada. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf. He was an avid collector of sports cars and sports memorabilia. Richard was employed by the Town of Stonewall for the past 12 years as Town Engineer.

The family would like to thank the paramedics, Seven Oaks Hospital, and the Town of Stonewall, especially thanks to Robert and Arlene, and Albany Keystone.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
