JAMES (PEEWEE) STRYCHARZ

October 29, 1940 - June 18, 2008

Peacefully on June 18, 2008, at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 67, Jimmy left us with his family at his side.

Jimmy is survived by his son Mike; daughters Kathy and Gabby; his partner Faye; grandchildren Shaun, Michael, Harley and Siarra; stepchildren Danny, Russell, Darcy and Michelle and brother Eddy.

He was predeceased by his father Michael; mother Katherine; uncle Walter and stepson Kelly.

Jimmy grew up in Winnipeg. He loved sports and the company of his many friends that he met throughout his life. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Jimmy will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com.
