ANTONIA TESCHNER STRAUSS

Peacefully on August 7, 2008 Antonia passed away at her residence at the age of 70 years,

Antonia is survived by her husband Frank; daughters Barbara (Craig) Treidler, Gabriele (Dominic) Digiovannantonio, Ramona (Earl) Rohringer, Nancy Strauss (Trevor); sons Bernhard (Anna) Teschner, Peter (Carol) Teschner, Mario (Debbie) Strauss; 17 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 5 sisters.

She was predeceased by her first husband Egon; one sister and four brothers.

Toni immigrated from Germany with her family in 1967. She quickly became involved with the German Choir of Winnipeg, Kolping Society, German Society of Winnipeg and Folklorama. But to many of us she was known as the yodelling queen. She was loved by all.

The family would like to thank Hospice and Palliative Care Manitoba nursing staff.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews at Mountain with Rev. Fr. Kevin Smith as Celebrant. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com.
