NORM STOUT 1927-2009 Peacefully with family by his side, Dad passed away on October 23 at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 81. Norm will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Elizabeth; daughters and sons-in law, Valerie (Bill), Debbie (Ed), Cheryl (Tim), Lori (Kelly); his grandchildren, Marlene, Heather, Rob, Kevin, Shelly, Brent, Melissa, Amanda, Ryan, Aaron, Kyle, Makiala and his 10 great-grandchildren and all who knew him. Norm was predeceased by his parents, William and Laura, sisters, Gladys and Mae, brother Jack and daughters, Marilyn, baby Shelly, and grandson Jason. Norm was born in Winnipeg December 20, 1927. He grew up in Miami, MB and moved to Wpg in 1952 with his wife. He spent his adult life working for Manitoba Hydro and 18 years for Wpg Transit. He was self-employed in the Music business until his retirement. Norm was an avid sportsman, enjoyed fishing, curling, golfing, and camping with family and friends, especially with Ruth and John Sabados and their children Julia, Bob and Gary. The Family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff, health care aids, nurses and doctors involved in Norm's Palliative Care. Your honesty and compassionate care will be forever remembered and appreciated. Funeral Service will be held on Friday Oct 30, 2009, 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street.
