Obituary of Anita Sokolowski

Anita Eleanor Sokolowski It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Anita Sokolowski on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Health Science Centre at the age of 62 years. Anita was predeceased by her father Felix. Left to mourn her passing is her husband Stan, daughters Jackie (Vince) and Crissy, grandsons Carter and Cooper, as well as her mother Georgette. She is also survived by 9 brothers and sisters; Ronald, Paul, Loretta (Gary), Dianne (Louie), Lawrence (Maggie), Terry (David), Louie, Francis (Jan) and Robert (Crystal), sister-in-law Margaret (Ken), and numerous nieces and nephews. Anita worked at the Concordia Hospital for the last 29 years and retired in 2008. Since retiring she loved spending time with her grandsons and working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed playing Keno at the casino. Flowers are gratefully declined. The family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, R3C 0S6 in Anita's memory. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main Street.
