Obituary of Janet SMITH

JANET LOUISE SMITH It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that Janet's family announces her sudden passing at her home on December 16, 2008. She was predeceased by her father Joseph and her long time companion Lee Mallory. Janet leaves to mourn her mom Theresa, sisters Jo-ann and Annette (Ralph), her brother Brian, her grandmother Lillian and her aunty Mary Davis. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews and cousins. Janet was a happy caring child, who loved animals and always had a cat or puppy to care for. She went to school at Earl Grey School, then to Kelvin High School. Janet always loved nursing, so she studied to be an L. P. N and worked at St. Boniface Hospital. Janet will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Janet will always be with us in spirit and our hearts. "Rest Peacefully." Celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 1442 Inkster and Main. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
