His love of hockey, which he played until 67 years of age (International Hockey in Europe; Troy Ohio; Southdale Old Timers etc) and his work in pharmacy took him on many treasured adventures over his lifetime. Practicing pharmacy he worked as a Medical Sales Rep; a hospital pharmacist; then after 30 years and retiring from the Health Sciences Hospital he established his own company "Pharmacist On Call" and began to work contract positions frequently flying up north to Norway House; Rankin Inlet; Churchill; lastly settling in Winnipeg at the Medicine Shoppe in St. James and Zellers River East Pharmacy where he worked until March 2009. He was particularly proud of achieving a career that spanned 50 years of pharmacy in 2009. Ted was involved with many social agencies over the years: SERC Mount Carmel Clinic; Good Neighborhood Service Centre to name but a few. He was also a member of Manitoba Prostate Cancer Group and regularly attended their monthly meetings. Ted grew up with strong family bonds and was proud of his Ukrainian heritage learning as a child the values of hard work, thrift and friendship. He touched many hearts with his sharp humor and his willingness to share his pharmacy knowledge with friends and strangers alike. Ted will go on living in the hearts and minds of all who knew him.
