WANDA ANN SIDORCHUK April 23, 1960 - May 18, 2008 It is with broken hearts and deep sorrow we announce the passing of Wanda on Sunday with her niece Tara and the love of family and friends at her side. She was predeceased by her dad Jim, sister Carol also special uncles, aunts and cousins in Canada and the USA. Left to mourn our great loss is her mom Elsie, sister Janice, brother Jim Jr., nephew Tyler, nieces Tara and Melissa (Dan) and her great nephew Austin Joseph. Wanda also leaves many special uncles, aunts, cousins and friends from across Canada and the USA. Wanda was and still is a very special person. She loved to spend her time creating a beautiful garden of vegetables and flowers. With her caring nature she rallied to not only to save the Jets but the Prairie Dog as well. With her best friend Katie, Wanda spent her days volunteering for the Lions Eye Bank and the CNIB. She especially enjoyed bowling with the 5 Pin Blind League. Forever we will remember her true love of watching hockey as well as cheering on the Goldeyes, Moose and Blue Bombers. Wanda loved the outdoors and had a true passion to save homeless and abused animals. Doja, Suzie and Bunny will really miss her. The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff in the Palliative Care Ward 8th floor at St. Boniface Hospital who went beyond the call of duty to make Wanda comfortable and treated her with dignity and compassion through this difficult time fighting breast cancer. The family would also like to thank the many family and friends who visited and brought their support, prayers and food. With heavy hearts we have to say "Good-bye" for now. Even though we knew your time was at hand, We were still so unprepared. You did not go alone, as a part of all of us went with you.
