From 1980 to 1988 I was a colleague of Don's in the Management Services office of CN Rail in Winnipeg. Don was a strong a Liberal supporter as I was for the NDP. We had many lively discussions about current political issues. As I went to cast my ballot in the 2021 federal election I was thinking of Don ... as he wags his finger to chastise me from on high. Don was a great guy with a big heart.

Dear Joan and family, Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. We will always remember Don with his big smile and usually wearing a perky cap/hat, .... and of course his on-going "political debates" and "I remember when...." stories. So sorry, Frank & Geri
