Obituary of Tamara Seaman

TAMARA (MARSHA) SEAMAN It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tamara (Marsha) Seaman on May 22, 2010 at Seven Oaks General Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Marsha will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 38 years, Gary. She will also be mourned by her sister Valentina and husband Eugene Adamov, sister-in-law Joyce Malak and husband Walter with their extended families. Marsha was a much-loved aunt. Marsha was born in Nis, in the former Yugoslavia on November 23, 1939. She came to Canada in the early fifties and attended Gordon Bell High School. She was predeceased by her father Gregory Sapowalenko, step-father Vasily Belkin, and mother Katherine Belkin and brothers Peter and Paul. Marsha was a conscientious worker at Eaton's for 22 years. At home, Auntie Marsha enhanced every family celebration with her delicious cuisine and wonderful baking. Marsha will be remembered as a most considerate person who always worried about others more than herself. A private prayer service has been held. A Panachyda (Memorial) service will be held at a future date at Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Church, with Fr. Raphael Vereshack officiating. Details will follow. In lieu of flowers, Marsha asked graciously that donations be made to Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Church 732 Alfred Ave. Wpg. MB R2W lY9 in loving memory of her mother, Katherine Belkin. Thank you to Marsha's doctors, the staff of the Palliative Care Unit and the nurses of Seven Oaks General Hospital for their attentive care.
