Caroline Schuetzmann Obituary

CAROLINE (Lin) SCHUETZMANN (1922 - 2010).

Caroline, an extremely devoted wife, mother, and Oma, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2010. She will be missed dearly by her loving family and many friends. She leaves to mourn her daughters Dorothy (Gordon) and Andrea (Gary), her sons Ernie (Hope) and Roy, grandchildren Kyla (Eli), Wesley (Mikyla), Kristen (Christian), Dustin (Angela), Aislinn, and step-grandchildren Kim and Karen (Josh). Caroline was predeceased by her loving husband Andreas (Opa). Most will know her as 'Oma'.

She enjoyed attending church and was an active member of the choir for many years; she had a green thumb for gardening, enjoyed music and was a skilled bowler and card player. She loved to sew, knit and crochet and lovingly created many items for her family and for others in need. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her positive attitude towards life. The family extends sincere thanks and gratitude to the medical team at the Grace Hospital for the comfort and care they provided to Oma.

A Memorial Service will be held in Winnipeg at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, on Friday December 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice is sincerely appreciated.

We love you Oma - Ich liebe dich. May God bless you now and forever.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.
