Elisabeth Schoenfeld

(nee Konheiser)

October 29, 1918 - January 29, 2011

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Elisabeth Schoenfeld on January 29th at Maples Personal Care Home, Winnipeg.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Irene Szabo (Peter), her son Gerald Schoenfeld, and grandsons Taylor Szabo and Justin Schoenfeld. Also by her special friends Deanna and Lorraine.

During her life Elisabeth always made her family her priority. As an accomplished seamstress she was always there to make a dress or shorten a pair of pants. In a fairytale romance she married Karl Heinz Schoenfeld within a month of their meeting. They were devoted to each other and married for 54 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband on January 21, 1994.

The family would like to thank the Maples Personal Care Home for their loving care for the last year of Elisabeth's life and especially in the last week of her life.

Funeral service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg on Friday, February 4, at 1:00 pm.
