ALLISTER JAMES (JIM) McLACHLAN
On February 28, 2012 at the Health Science Centre, Jim passed away at the age of 67 years.
Jim is survived by his former wife Lynda (Seens), daughter Debbie (Rob), their family Abbey, Alex, Emily and Matthew, his son Kevin (Jennifer) and their family Ella and Micah, and sister Sandy(Gary) Dunn and their family Candace, Lorraine and Craig. He is predeceased by his parents James and Mary and sister Reta.
Jim was born on November 9, 1944 in St. Boniface, MB and spent the earlier years of his life on his parents farm east of Ste. Elizabeth, MB. After his father's passing, his family moved to the RM of Charleswood in 1955. He attended school at the Allen Douglas School where he met his good friend, Stuart MacDonald. He spent most of his working years at Old Dutch Foods. He lived the remaining years of his life at the Beacon Hill Lodge in Winnipeg, MB. We would like to thank the caring staff at Beacon Hill Lodge.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, March 8 at 10:00am at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster. A private graveside will follow in Morris, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to the Health Sciences Foundation.
