Obituary of Charles REYNOLDS

CHARLES JOHN"JACK"REYNOLDS June 8, 1922 - July 18, 2010 It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce on the evening of Sunday, July 18, 2010, Mr. Jack Reynolds, age 88 years, passed away at the Maples Personal Care Home in the company of loving family members. Jack was employed by Canadian Pacific Railway and retired with over 35 years of service. During his younger years Jack spent much time tending to and chasing rabbits out of his garden. He also loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Reynolds was predeceased by his mother Ethel and father Charles. Jack will be lovingly remembered by all those who are left to mourn his passing, especially Bernard and Gloria Blazeiko, their children; Suzanne, Robert, Donald, Gordon, his Goddaughter Meredith, Elizabeth, Michael, and Meredith's son Zachary who loved Jack like a grandpa. The family would also like to give a special thank you to the Maples Personal Care Home for the years of dedication you gave to Jack. Your kindness and generosity in making him as comfortable as possible in his last years will be forever remembered in our hearts. Visitation and Funeral Service was held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Brenda Fraser officiating. Interment took place in Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery located at 2373 Main St. Pallbearers were: Messer's Robert, Gordon and Michael Blazeiko, Glen Anderson, Wayne Meyer and Luigi Viselli. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Jack's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
