Obituary of Mary Pittman
MARY ANN PITTMAN (nee Wylie) June 13, 1947 - March 11, 2009
It is with great sadness and surrounded by her family, Mary Ann Pittman, our beloved mother and nanny passed away on Wednesday at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 61 years.
She leaves to mourn, her daughters Cindy (Charlie) Dodd of Selkirk and Nikki Pittman (Kerry Deacon) of Winnipeg; her sons Bill Pittman (Colleen Fitzpatrick) and Devin Pittman (Sarah Clairmont); daughter-in-law Francine Pittman; 5 grandchildren Joseph Dodd, Kierstin Dodd of Selkirk, Chelsea Pittman, Keeley Pittman and Zachary Deacon. She also leaves her sister Barbara (John) Beaumont and family.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband Raymond James Pittman; parents Barbara and Samuel Wylie, sister Helen Lintick and brother-in-law Chick Lintick.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital Emergency, ICU Unit and 5B for all their care and consideration.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Chapel with Rev. Scott MacAuley officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Lorne Mushumanski (cousin), Bob H. (friend), Garrett McGimpsey (great-nephew), Jeremy Shorting (friend), Gordon Rosnow Jr. (friend) and Keith Hopko (friend).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
