Obituary of Joseph PICHÉ
JOSEPH WILFRED (WILF) PICH
Sept 5/1930-Sept 9/2008
Wrapped in the warmth of the love of his family and friends, "Grandpa Pich" left us to continue his life's journey. Dad was a very independent man that always had to get the job done in a timely and efficient manner, hence when he had his unfortunate mishap on Sept 4, he so choose not to put his family through a long period of sorrow by passing on 5 days later.
His wife Lois, son Jack and daughter Shirley as well as numerous other relatives and friends will be at the gate with open arms to welcome Dad.
Remaining behind to cherish Dad's memory are: his pet and "best friend" Rusty, his children; Betty (John)Pich; Tom(Carol) Pich; Louise(Doug) Defoort; daughter- in- law Shirley (Jack) Pich; and son-in-law Tim (Shirley) Holunga; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Maegen (Shania, Theresa, Zachary, Naomy), Jason, Jenn, Matthew, Julia, Becky, Pam, Roger, will always remember Grandpa P, 'G.G' for his support, generosity and great sense of humor.
Dad, Grandpa, 'G.G', Uncle Teen, Mr. Pich, was the "Hub" of the family, our confidant, a very unselfish giving gentleman who touched the lives of many.
We are comforted by the care and support received from all involved, showing just how much Dad was greatly loved, and respected.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St.
