Obituary of MARIA SERRA

MARIA SERRA On February 29, 2012, Maria, beloved wife of Joaquim passed away at the age of 74 years. Besides her loving husband, she leaves to mourn, 3 sons, Victor (Anna), Armando (Ilda) and Paul; 7 grandchildren, Jessie, Jennifer, Justin, Jessica, Scottie, Andrew and Michelle; her brother Joe (Olivia) Silva and family of Winnipeg and 4 sisters and families in Portugal. Maria was a loving and hardworking wife, mother and grandmother and will always be missed. Prayers will be said Monday, March 5, at 7:00pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 6 at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. with entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Maria’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
