Maria was born on February 3, 1921 in Faj De Cima, Sao Miguel, Aores and married in 1943 to the love of her life Jose Dos Santos Pereira. Although Maria enjoyed nurturing her houseplants and crocheting, her greatest joy in life was her family and friends.
