LINDA LEONA WOJEVODA PEARCE September 25, 1951 - May 4, 2008 Peacefully on May 4, 2008, Linda passed away at the age of 56 years. Linda was born and raised in Winnipeg and proudly embraced her Ukrainian heritage in every way. Linda was a visual artist who had taught in Winnipeg at various institutions including Red River Community College, Deer Lodge Centre and Graffiti Gallery. She was also a highly skilled technician recreating accurate Aboriginal archaeological artifacts displayed across various national parks, The Manitoba Museum and Canadian Museum of Civilization in Quebec. She was also known for her wearable embroidered erotic art that dazzled the eye and pushed boundaries. Linda was creative in various mediums and had many exhibitions across North America. She had many friends from all walks of life who will remember her sparkling personality, sharp wit, outgoing sense of humour and keen eye for fashion. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Josie (Kevin), son Matthew (Cindy), loving mother Kay (Mike), brother Pastor Roger (Kathy), granddaughters Stephanie, Brittany and Briana, nieces Liesa, Colleen, Amy and Rebecka, nephews Evan and Colin, good friend Richard. She was predeceased by her brother Edward.
