Anthony Edwin Fraser (Ted) Paterson

Our family is deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Ted, - husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, very special individual. Ted passed away at home in the care of his loving wife, Janet, son-in-law, George, and palliative care nurse, Rachel, on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Ted was 88 years of age.

According to Ted's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. Ted did give us permission for a party. Friends, colleagues and others who wish to pay tribute to Ted will be invited to join our family in early October to celebrate Ted's life and his many contributions.

In lieu of flowers and in recognition of Ted's commitment to community, the family invites donations be contributed to "The Ted Paterson Fund" at the Winnipeg United Way, 580 Main St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 1C7, (477-5360), or in Ted Paterson's name with the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation (Leukemia Research), 1160-675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 (787-4143).
