BORN OCTOBER 2, 1913 - OZERNA, MANITOBA
Baba passed away peacefully on January 30, 2009, with her Daughter-in-Law, Annette Storzuk, Granddaughter, Tracy Hall, and Great Granddaughter, Emma Hall, by her side.
Baba is survived by her Daughter-in-Law, Annette Storzuk of Calgary, AB. Grandchildren: Theresa (Dave) McIlveen, Trevor (Jen) Storzuk, Tracy Hall and Thomas Storzuk. Great Grandchildren: Matthew (Katie), Michelle, Nicholas and Emily McIlveen; Emma Hall; Michael, Kayleigh and Austin Storzuk; Sister, Madge Baril; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband Henry Storzuk, second husband William Pasternak, son Bud Storzuk, parents Stephan and Anastasia Shewchuk, Sisters: Lena Andreychuk, Mary Sulymka, Magda Statkewich, Polly Norosky, Julie Murash and Brother: Walter Shewchuk.
She was a member and promoter of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal for many years and Graymoor Spiritual member for 40 years. She was a member of U.C.W.L. for 50 years and served as president of B.V.M. Parish and Rachham St. John's Parish.
Anne and Henry operated a General Store in Rachham, MB, for 20 years. She was employed at Zeller's Polo Park as Department Head for 14 years and Eaton's downtown Winnipeg.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, February 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, February 6 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Anne's memory to Siloam Mission.
