Elva Marie Nordin

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, Elva Nordin on September 10, 2008 at Middlechurch Home at the age of 102 years. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children, Kenneth (Souli), Joyce (Bruce), Laurine, Roy (Vivian), her grandchildren Juanita (Jurie), Timothy (Erin), Shannon (Fiancee Martin), Janell, Jennine (Craig), Cordell (Melanie), Pamela, Natalie, and four great-grandchildren, Tyson (Fiance� Jessica), Kayleigh (Fiancee Ryan), Sydney and Connor. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 60 years, she firmly believed in the Bible's promise of a resurrection to life on a paradise on earth. (John 5:28,29 and Psalm 37:9-11) Following a private interment, a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 17th, 2008, at the Kingdom Hall, 937 Gateway Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The family wishes to thank the nurses and aides at Sharon Home (Kanee Centre) for their loving care for over five years and to the staff at Middlechurch, where she had recently moved.
