Melody Lynn Nizalik

October 22, 1956 - August 3, 2009

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Melody Lynn Nizalik aged 52 years, at her residence in Port Moody, B.C.

She is survived and lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by her mother Bonnie Hewstan and stepfather Kevan Hewstan of Moody B.C. and sister Dr. Elizabeth Nizalik, niece Sophia of Ottawa, brothers Rodney and Christopher Nizalik, niece Dallas Nizalik and nephew Jesse Nizalik of Calgary, Aunties Helen Albo, Mary Dolinski, Victoria Latocke, Marlene Miller, of Wpg, Aunties Veronica Dolin, Victoria Neckel, JoAnn and Uncle Jim Andrews of USA, many cousins and friends.

Melody was predeceased by her father Roy Nizalik in 2003. Melody was born and raised in Winnipeg. She was employed by Sears Vancouver in the high fashion department for the past eight years. She had a very unique flare for high fashion and displays. She was a great salesperson, and her customers loved to deal with her. Melody had a great love for children. She loved to play games with her nieces and nephew.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 17,2009, at St. John Cantius Church at 11 :00 AM, Rev. Fr. Geoffrey Angeles officiating.

At Melody's request, cremation has taken place. Interment will be in the Nizalik family plot at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Melody, may you rest in peace beside your father.
