Obituary of Dina Morning
Dina Edith (Stark) Morning
October 6, 1934 - December 7, 2009
Suddenly, yet peacefully in her sleep, Dina passed away on the morning of December 7, 2009.
Dina will be remembered by Richard, her loving husband of almost 50 years, by her devoted sister Helen, and by her nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, great great nephews, and great-great nieces.
She is predeceased by her parents, Ludwig and Amalia Stark, her siblings Johanna Fritz, Edmund Stark and their spouses John and Margaret, and niece Elaine.
Dina's last years were not easy for her, but we saw glimpses of the "old Dina" and were reminded of her outgoing, vivacious, and fun-loving personality, as evidenced by her love of shopping sprees and enjoyment of trying new restaurants.
Dina resided at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre at the time of her death, and her family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care she received from the dedicated staff there.
Christmas was Dina's favorite time of the year and we will think of her as our Christmas Angel.
Dina was strong in her faith and she had a favourite verse, "The joy of the Lord is my strength."
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 11 at 12:30 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main at Inkster, presided by Pastor David Saude.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Selkirk Mental Health Centre or charity of your choice.
