DIONISIO SOARES de MEDEIROS October 9, 1924 -March 14, 2009

Peacefully, on March 14, 2009, Dionisio passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 84 years.

He will be sadly missed by his sons Gabriel (Giselia), Osvaldo, Henrique (Denise), grandchildren Michelle, Lisa, Kevin, Chantal, Trista, Braden, Joe, 7 great grandchildren Chloe, Maxim, Owen, Devyn, Addison, Emily, Kaylie, brothers and sisters, Augusto and Liontina (Toronto), Sezaltina and Maria (Portugal), 17 nephews and numerous friends.

He was predeceased by his wife Josephine, sister Valdemiral, and brother-in-law Antonio.

Dionisio was born in Aqua de Pau, San Miguel, Azores. He came to Canada in 1957 and worked as a tailor at Eaton's for 24 years.

Special thanks to the staff at Maples Nursing Home, Seven Oaks Hospital, and to family and friends for all their support and love.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Viewing will take place � hour before the service. Entombment at Assumption Cemetery.

If friends so desire donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
