MARGARET ANNE BROWNING

Obituary of MARGARET ANNE BROWNING

MARGARET ANNE BROWNING (nee WOOLLARD) September 8, 1922 – February 13, 2012 It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Margaret Browning, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her daughter Lesley Browning Schneider (John) of Winnipeg, son Dr. Craig Browning of Toronto, grandchildren Robyn Neufeldt (Christopher) and Meaghan Schneider, grandchildren Megan, Emma and Kael. She also leaves to mourn her passing, her sister Norma King. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Joe Browning in 1993 and sister Laurie Draward in 1982. Mom’s entire life was family first. Being a wife and mother meant the world to her. Having her daughter, son-in-law, 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson-in-law and 2, sometimes 3 great-grandchildren all living with her in her house really kept her moving. She always said that it helped her stay up to date with the world. She was affectionately known as "Yoda" to her family. We all love you and will miss you. Special thanks to Seven Oaks Hospital staff, especially Paul and Virg., as well as the St. Martin Church congregation. A tribute to Margaret’s life will be held on Monday, February 27 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin-in-the-Field Church, 160 Smithfield Ave. with Rev. Bob Webster officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
