Carl MARCH

Obituary of Carl MARCH

CARL MARTIN MARCH August 24, 1937 - May 6, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear father at the Victoria General Hospital. Carl was predeceased by his loving wife of 42 years, Darlene (Priebe) in 2005. In passing he leaves to mourn his children Wendy (Rod) and Chris, brother Edward (Elaine), sister-in-law Dianne March and many nieces, nephews and other dear friends and family. Carl was confirmed and married at Redeemer Lutheran Church. He enjoyed the move to Epiphany Lutheran Church in 1974. Over the years Carl taught the Bethel Series and was also the leader of church youth groups. Carl's faith in God combined with his knowledge of scripture, keen analytic ability and natural curiosity made him an interesting and inspirational leader and teacher. Carl enjoyed pondering and discussing the great mysteries of life while always maintaining a quirky sense of humor and optimistic outlook. Our thanks to Dr. L. DaSilva, Dr. R. Leicht and Pastor Ed Mitchler for their ongoing support, care and attention over the last few years. Cremation has taken place and will be followed by family interment at Brookside Cemetery. A celebration of Carl's life will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Drive. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made in Carl's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Epiphany Lutheran Church. "We shall be changed" Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
