KATARZYNA MAKSYMOWICZ January 1, 1915 - October 13, 2008
Surrounded by her family, Katarzyna passed away peacefully on Monday at Victoria Hospital at the age of 93 years.
She leaves to mourn, her children: Walter, Diane (Walter) Biernacki, John (Alicja) and Michael (Lucy); twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister Anna Rogoza; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Katarzyna was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1975, her brother John and sister Mary.
She worked for many years at St. Joseph's Residence. After retirement she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and loved gardening and cooking.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
