Obituary of Rozalia MADARASZ
ROZALIA (ROSE) MADARASZ
Rozalia (Rose) Madarasz, aged 96 years, passed away at Oakview Place Care Home on Wednesday, September 23, 2009.
Rozalia was born June 24, 1913, in Hungary and immigrated to Canada with her husband Ferenc (Frank) in 1957.
Rose was predeceased by her husband Frank, parents, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her sister Margaret, numerous nieces and nephews all in Hungary and by nieces Cathy Grahlman, Kornelia Lake, Ingrid Kerger, great nephew Joshua Grahlman and dear family friend Mrs.Debreczeni and families all of Winnipeg.
Rose was an expert seamstress working from her home for many years and was very proud of the beautiful needle point pictures she crafted over the years and were displayed in her room at Oakview Place for all to enjoy.
The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the 2nd floor staff at Oakview Place, especially to Rose's nurse Eleanor for all their care and support over the years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Henryk Laciak officiating.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Rozalia
