Janette MacLean

Peacefully, on August 22, 2009, Janette passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 78 years.

Janette was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Janette moved to Luther Group Home in 1987, where she resided until 2003 when she was admitted to Central Park Lodge. In 2004, Janette took residence at Luther Seniors Home, bringing her closer to her group home friends and acquaintances.

Janette enjoyed attending church and group activities, looking at magazines and playing Bingo. Janette's greatest passion was listening to music. Janette took great pleasure in participating at Hope Centre.

A very special thank you to the staff and volunteers for their care and dedication.

Janette will be sadly missed by her long time friends Laverne, Rick and Penny Dahlin. Janette was predeceased by her parents Earl (Mac) and Blanche MacLean.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 31, at 10:30 a.m. at Luther Home Chapel, 1081 Andrews at Leila.

If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
