Stephen is also survived by Uncle William and Aunt Ollie, several cousins and many wonderful friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Steve and Sophie, niece Kandace, Aunt Rita and Anne and John Harasymchuk.
Stephen was employed with the Government of Manitoba for 23 years presently as a Financial Assistant with the Educational Resources Branch. He represented Area 7 on MGEU Human Rights and Equity Committee and was assistant campaign manager for the Education All Charities Committee.
An avid sports fan, Stephen supported the Blue Bombers, Manitoba Moose and the Winnipeg Jets. His love of music took him to many concerts over the years. Family events and special occasions were so important to him.
He touched the lives of so many around him. His smiling face will be greatly missed.
Thank you to the staff at Concordia for their care and compassion. A special thanks to all his fellow co-workers for their emails, visits, thoughts and support through this difficult time.
