My first real memory of Uncle Tony was watching him supervise framing on the place he and Russell were building in Charleswood on Buckingham Drive. His tool belt was cool to a guy maybe 6 - 8 years old, and more than 50 years later, it still is. He always had something to fix or a car to repair, and I remember him sharing how to do things. I also remember him laughing a lot, and sometimes I'm sure his face must have hurt from the permanent grin. Many times on meeting Tony all you would see were his feet sticking out from under a car. The world needs more guys like him. Our paths and neighbourhoods were different, but he's still a hero to me.
