Obituary of ROSALIE TERENCHUK

Rosalie Eleanor Josephine Terenchuk (nee Gawryluk) February 23, 1925 - February 9, 2012 Peacefully, on Feb. 9, 2012, Auntie Rose passed away at home in her sleep, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by husband Walter, sister Jean Wear, brother-in-law Eugene Waskin, sister Lillian Waskin, and son Patrick. Left to cherish her memory are son Richard, niece Carole (Colin Demianyk), niece Kathi Wear, nephew Craig Waskin (Joanne), nephew David Tyler (Monica) and their families. Rose was a mother who tirelessly raised her son Richard, always "teaching" him to live with his special needs. Her dedication to him lasted a lifetime. Cousins Dan (Lorna), Effie, Marilyn, and Barry (Merle) provided much appreciated friendship and support over the years. Cremation has taken place and interment of ashes is on Saturday, Feb.18 at 11:00 AM at Stonewall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosalie’s memory to the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities, and Heart and Stroke Foundation.
