I realize that this is long after he has left us, but I am writing a book and he is in it and I wanted to confirm some background for it. I worked for Peter in 1969 as a pilot. My book is about my life as a pilot. Peter gave me my first real break in aviation. I was on my very first job, flying out of Red Lake and one of Northland's aircraft was at our facility. The pilot had just disappeared and I was asked to continue the flight to Thunder Bay. I did that and brought the aircraft back to Winnipeg. On arrival, I was met by Peter, who thanked me profusely for helping them out. He then offered me a job, which I took. I went on to join Air Canada and spent 33 years flying for them. Thank you Peter for that chance. Kent Davis

Sandra and Richard, We had a great relationship with your dad during our years at the Elmwood Kildonan Y. His contribution to the young people of the north and their relationship to the young people of east kildonan was very special. Over the years we had managed to see Peter each summer when we returned to holiday at Victoria Beach. Peter was special and we loved him very much. Gord and Beth
