She was predeceased by her husband George Herve in 1974; son Kenneth George in 1991; baby great grandchild Tyrell; sister Annie and Charlie Walker; brothers Sonny "Joe", Thomas and Lizzie; half brother Alvin and half sister Mary Jane; parents Dominic and Sara-Jane (Daniels) Nobiss. Kathleen was a mother to 12 children; Judy (Jim) Moar, Donald, Tom (Lena), Jaye (James), Janice (Jason), David (Peggy), Sharon (Gerald) Leach, Bob (Louise), Lawrence "Butch", Georgette, Sheila (Rodney); approx. 40 grandchildren; approx. 45 great grandchildren; half sisters Sarah, Rose (Joe) Pitzl; half brother Dave (Linda); numerous nieces, nephews; sisters-in-law; cousins; numerous friends who loved her dearly and many who called her Mom. Mom was born in Stonewall, Manitoba, met and married our dad George Herve and moved to Winnipeg when Judy and Donald were 4 and 3 years old. Together Mom and Dad raised 12 children and also a few grandchildren. She always remembered everyone and always had something special for someone or if you admired her earrings or jewellery, they were yours. The family would like to thank the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge and the nurses on 3rd floor unit 5 at Seven Oaks Hospital for all their kindness and tender care of our mother (especially the people at Fred Douglas who helped with her earrings everyday). A Wake/Prayers will be held on Friday, February 25 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 26 at 9:00 a.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
