Kendra LATZKITSCH

Obituary of Kendra LATZKITSCH

Kendra Michaela Latzkitsch It's with deep sadness on December 24, 2009 at the age of 22, we lost a daughter, grand daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. Left to mourn are her loving family - Parents; Kim & Werner Latzkitsch and Nancy Pihulak, brothers Sean (Alisa) and Troy, Oma and Opa, her boyfriend Kevin, as well numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents Sam & Viola Murray and Albert Smith. Kendra touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her bright smile and her warm loving personality. As a child she spent many enjoyable summers with her family at Opa's cottage on Brereton Lake. She truly loved the water. She was active in baseball, dance and just enjoyed everything she did, except skating lessons! Kendra graduated in 2005 from Garden City Collegiate and went on to work for the Prov. of Manitoba, Vital Statistics Agency. Kendra's taste for travelling started when Oma took her to Germany for her 16th birthday. Her adventures carried her to Cancun & Acapulco and had planned to visit Las Vegas with Kevin this coming February. She also started to become a great little baker and cook, asking her Oma and aunts for those secret family recipes that she could pass on to happy waiting stomachs. She had several signature recipes of her own that were frequently requested for family occasions. Kendra you will be truly missed, but your kind hearted spirit will live deep in all of our hearts forever. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Kendra's life will be celebrated on Saturday, January 2, 2010, at 2:00 pm. at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main St. Winnipeg, MB In lieu of flowers please make donations to a foundation or charity of choice. "You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back, or you can open yours eyes and see all she's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on." Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
