Gregory was predeceased by his parents, Mary and William Nykoruk. Born and educated in Winnipeg, Greg served in the Canadian Armed Forces. He worked in the brewing industry for over forty years, being employed by Brewery Products, Carling Breweries and Associated Beer Distributors, where he retired as a supervisor. Gregory was a kind and gentle man who enjoyed life to the fullest. Summers were spent in Grand Marais, playing tennis with his buddies, while winter was reserved for sunny Hawaii.
