Obituary of Antonio LAMOTHE

ANTONIO VICTORIN LAMOTHE 1922 - 2009 On July 8, 2009, Tony passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Anne and his sister Marie Louise Marchildon. Tony was a wonderful loving stepfather to Anne's three children Bohdan, Tania and Stephen; grandfather to four grandchildren and one great grandchild. He leaves many nieces and one nephew; many cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He was predeceased by his parents Louis and Valeda Lamothe; his in-laws Mary and Nick Kuryk; his sisters Sister Rosaria and Bibiane and also his brothers David, Joseph and Laurent; his first wife Raymonde and his Godchild Gilbert Marchildon. Tony was heart broken to leave the home in St. Fran�ois Xavier, his farm and his church where he was baptized, confirmed and married but due to his stroke he had to move to the city. Tony was a very active man farmed all his life, loved his sports, curling, bowling, horseshoes, baseball and pool. He leaves his many friends at the ANAF #283. We would like to thank his doctors at the Assiniboine Clinic, also to Catherine Cameron and her home care workers for the wonderful care we receive. Special thank you to Lloyd and Odile Thibert and also Victoria Mryglad, Anne's sister, and most of all to the nurses at the Grace Hospice. Prayers will be said on Friday, July 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Fran�ois Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Isaïe Blanchette, O.M.I. presiding. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony's memory to the Grace Hospice Cancer Care Unit or to the St. Fran�ois Xavier Building Fund.
