Therese (Auntie T) Lagimodiere
January 26, 1926 - February 3, 2011
"Auntie T" passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the Selkirk General Hospital.
She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She spent her working years working for Indian Affairs Northern Development, as a senior child care worker. "Auntie T" was a proud member of the Liberal Party of Canada. She lived in the St. Vital area moving in 1992 to East Selkirk to live with Aime and Irene.
She was a woman of great integrity, who had a heart of gold. She loved her family very much, and would often help her nieces and nephews. She gave of herself, and never asked for anything in return.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sister Anne-Marie Horvath of Thunder Bay, ON. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with cremation to follow.
Flowers gratefully accepted or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3.
