Obituary of EDDY SUNDSETH

EDDY SUNDSETH February 1, 1951 – October 11, 2011 With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Eddy on the morning of October 11, 2011, after a brief illness. Eddy made many friends during his time in Winnipeg and St. Eustache, MB. As a young man in Norway, he worked on the Christian Radich Ship and The Norwegian Cargo Fleet, travelling around the world many times. He left the sea to pursue a career as a roofer, where he met and made many friends and touched the hearts of many who met him. He will be sorely missed. His health forced him to retire early. He was predeceased by his father Leif and grandparents. Surviving are his mother Sunni and sister Evibeth and her family in Norway. Also grieving is his best friend and companion of many years Lucille Flett, her children Cheryl Thunder (Curt), grandchildren Kevin (Tiffany), Caitlyn, Frankie and Kylie, friends Diane Desjarlais, her family Joan (Derek), Bernice (Archie), Charlene (Darryl), Corrinne (Kelvin), Robert, Darren (Heather) and his son Clint (Yvette). Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Pastor Don Genaille officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Curt Thunder, Kevin Flett, Glenn Fries, Derek Montgomery, Wilfred Spence, Jim Hartwick, Archie Starr, Darrin Parisian, Robert Chartrand and Wayne McKelvey, just a few to name, but all his friends can consider themselves Honorary Pallbearers and most of all Moe Torodachuk, his best friend.
