CECILIA KRAUS (KOSLIK)
August 11, 1915-January 27, 2009
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Cecilia Kraus on January 27, 2009 at Seven Oaks Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband Mathias; son Adolf; parents Josef and Veronika Koslik; brother Stefan; sisters Julianna and Veronika.
Cecilia is survived by and will be deeply missed by her daughters Ingrid (Alan) and Valeria (Rudolf); sons Edward and Manfred; 14 grandchildren-Marlin (Debbie), Ronnie, Gunter, Peter, Dieter, Linda, Kathy, Ramona, Anita, Corinna, Kurt, Eli, Andreas, Julia and numerous great grandchildren, especially her 3 special little boys De Mar, Mason and Logan;daughter-in-law Hilde.
Cecilia was born on August 11, 1915 in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Canada with her husband and children in 1959.
Cecilia's greatest joy was working in her flower garden, her home and taking care of her family.
Prayers will be said on Monday, February 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Mountain and Andrews with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.
